3. SMS / Text Message Terms & Conditions
This section constitutes the complete terms of our text messaging program.
3.1 Program Description
Deep Sea Holdings LLC DBA The Ames Team operates a text messaging program for prospective and incoming agents. It sends two distinct categories of messages, which you may opt in to separately:
Non-marketing / informational messages: confirmations and reminders for scheduled interviews and calls with our broker, replies and follow-up regarding your specific questions about joining our team or about our commission plans, onboarding and license transfer paperwork reminders, and status updates on your application.
Marketing messages: announcements about our commission plan options, invitations to agent training sessions, mentorship programs and recruiting events, and updates about the tools and services we provide our agents, such as lead generation programs, transaction management, listing distribution, and IDX websites.
3.2 How to Opt In
You may opt in by checking the applicable consent box on a form on careers.jointheamesteam.com and submitting the form with your mobile number.
Consent checkboxes on our forms are not pre-selected. Checking a consent box is optional and is never a condition of submitting a form, receiving information, being considered as a candidate, or purchasing any product or service. You may consent to marketing messages, non-marketing messages, both, or neither.
You represent that the mobile number you provide belongs to you and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.
3.3 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity, your stated preferences, and the stage of your conversation with our recruiting team.
3.4 Message and Data Rates

Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or messaging platform providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Affiliation with The Ames Team requires an active real estate license in good standing issued by the State of Utah, or eligibility to obtain or transfer one. The Ames Team consists of real estate professionals licensed in the State of Utah. Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated.
